Made from good quality, shimmery foiled Lycra, these tails are split at the back for ease of movement and trimmed with organza “fins”. I have added a crochet mesh belly top, this is secured with double-sided satin ribbon shoulder ties and, a removable brooch for easy machine washing adds a finishing touch. To complete the look, there is a hair band decorated with gems and shells, just like those collected by mermaids in their secret caverns under the sea.
